Geaux Bond is a versatile, water-based crafting adhesive that can be used as a pigmented primer, glitter adhesive, or tack-it method adhesive. It eliminates the need to spray paint many projects before applying glitter, pigments, foil flakes, and other decorative materials—making crafting easier and more convenient!

Its tacky, fast-drying formula creates a strong hold while still allowing enough time to reposition/burnish glitter, pigments, foils and foil flakes for all your projects. Geaux Bond is ideal for tumblers, pens, freshies, fabric, and many other DIY projects.

Because Geaux Bond is water-based, cleanup is quick and easy with soap and water.

Important Information

Geaux Bond remains tacky until glitter, foil flakes, pigment, or another product is applied over it.

Sealing your project after apply glitter, pigments, foils, foil flakes, etc. is always recommended to help prevent epoxy from repelling. Glitter Lock from Geaux Glitter Co. works was created to help all crafters with sealing projects and is water-based as well and should not repel.  See Glitter Lock instructions.

Geaux Bond is pigmented and does not dry clear.

Tack-It Method Application

1. Apply an even, thin layer of Geaux Bond with a brush.
2. Immediately use a soft premium brush to gently pat the surface and remove visible brush strokes before the adhesive completely dries.
3. A heat gun on low heat may be used to speed up the drying process.
4. Lightly tap several areas with your finger. If no adhesive transfers to your finger, it is ready for the next step.
5. Because Geaux Bond does not dry clear, the touch test is the best way to determine whether it is dry. Also, Geaux Bond is matte when applied and dries shiny.

Glitter Application

1. Apply a generous, even layer of Geaux Bond.
2. For fine or medium-cut glitter, gently smooth or tap the adhesive with a brush to create texture and remove heavy brush strokes.
3. For chunky glitter mixes, smoothing the brush strokes is not necessary.
4. Apply glitter immediately after applying Geaux Bond while it is wet.
5. Allow the project to dry for at least one hour before sealing.

Drying time will vary depending on the thickness of the application. A heat gun on low heat may be used to speed up the drying process.

Because Geaux Bond is water-based, use caution when applying a water-based sealer, as it may reactivate the adhesive and disturb or remove some of the applied product.

Safety and Storage

Always use Geaux Bond in a well-ventilated area. Appropriate personal protective equipment is recommended when working with chemical products.

Wear gloves and avoid contact with skin and eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Store in a cool, dry, adequately ventilated area away from heat and sources of ignition. Keep the lid tightly sealed when not in use.

Keep out of reach of children.
